Sketa Oz Design Releases the SO Collection

So happy to announce the official launch of our much awaited: Sketa Oz Collection.  

Monday the 1st of May, 2017 was our newly scheduled date - given we've had funding and print house hick-ups to put us way behind our original launch date: 14th of April, 2016.

Yeah I know, that's well over a year - unfortunately, these things happen when there is no budget - just love and fresh air. Mixed with a fair bit of patience and perseverance, I am proud to bring you a lovely product, I must say.  You'll have to check out the line or you'll miss out on all the fun of securing a collector's item. ​

This line is fully hand-crafted, up to and including the envelopes and card slips.  Originating from watercolour paintings produced on 300gsm watercolour paper; and pen and ink drawings drawn on illustrator board. Two designs are woven into one and printed on quality, recyclable Australian cardstock, to produce great looking cards for almost every occasion you can think of...  ​

Each card is sold in its own protective recyclable, resealable cello bag - along with the hand-made envelope, slip and seal.  All cards have a short celebratory phrase on the front, but the cards remain blank on the inside. So you'll have to add your own wonderful thoughts to send them off to colleagues, family and friends.

As mentioned, all envelopes and card slips are handcrafted one-by-one, from cut to fold - created from heavy FSC paper to encourage due care of our forest; and responsible paper selection in the purchase & production of paper goods.

This designer collection of stationery works is presently available to the general public, but this might not always be the case; eventually they'll only be available from select business houses and stores.  
 
So why did I design these...
I liked the idea of being able to incorporate my artistic work with my writing - yes, I write children's books and will continue to do.  However, enhancing the lives of others in a more creative manner enables me to move in a greater entrepreneurial direction that can enhance the lives of all people who enjoy my work.  

This line is part of a master plan to conquer the world...no seriously! :) ​

You saw the colour and frame me books launched last year, I expect to do one each year, not sure if I'll get past that, but at least one.  We'll see how I go.  These come under the Sketa Oz Collection, too.  Anyhow, the collection will grow to include a note paper, notebooks, inspirational cards, pens and much more.  The world's my oyster, right?

The line has been produced under the ELK Publishing banner, until Sketa Oz Design grows into its own company shoes.  Hence my request for social media interns earlier this year.  P.S. if you are still interested let me know.
