Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is done and dusted, but it's more than just flowers. The annual event is a draw card for international visitors across the world, in particular our sister cities: Paju and Takatsuki. The carnival offers an opportunity to create and continue making good relations for not only trade in this region, but for small businesses, education, agriculture and government. Exchanging conversation and spending quality catch up time with local councils on both sides of the fence, is paramount to continuing these relations.

Sketa stresses the importance of learning languages at the '2016 Korean Festival' - King George Square, Brisbane City, Australia. While crowds enjoyed the local Korean cuisine, music and culture - a greater underlying importance of establishing Korean studies in schools across QLD remained high on the list of priorities for not only Sketa, but Korean nationals alike.
