The annual event is a draw card for international visitors across the world, in particular our sister cities: Paju and Takatsuki. Exchanging conversation and spending quality catch up time with local councils on both sides of the fence, is paramount to continuing these relations. Sketa gathers signatures and addresses large crowds at the Toowoomba International Multi-cultural Festival - to establish greater interest in the establishment of Korean language programs throughout QLD Schools. Sketa stresses the importance of learning languages at the '2016 Korean Festival' - King George Square, Brisbane City, Australia. While crowds enjoyed the local Korean cuisine, music and culture - a greater underlying importance of establishing Korean studies in schools across QLD remained high on the list of priorities for not only Sketa, but Korean nationals alike. |
